| North Star Critical Care conducts all billing activities in house electronically. Our method not only safeguards your most private information but it provides us with quality assurance methods not found in typical ambulances services.
This is a seamless process that begins when the dispatcher collects the required information at the time of your telephone call for assistance. It is further enhanced when the Paramedic arrives on scene to begin their assessment and treatment. Your patient care report is completed on state of the art laptop computers carried in each ambulance and is immediately available for your physician.
These two source of electronic data then come together in our billing department where the information is cross checked for completeness, accuracy and reviewed for quality assurance. Your bill is then sent electronically to your insurance carrier for processing and payment.
